Vanity Units

With sizes from 450mm all the way up to 1200mm and a choice of Teak or Gloss White finishes you should be able to find the perfect Vanity Unit for your requirements. Vanity units incorporate an integral ceramic basin that will usually have useful storage 'wings' on either side of the basin washing area. The units will offer a variety of doors, drawers and shelves, according to the size and style you choose.

Fitted Bathroom Furniture

There is a range of furniture to suit every bathroom with cabinets ranging from 300mm and 400mm available as base or wall cabinets to a 600mm and 700mm basin base or WC cabinets. Compact fitted Furniture is made with less depth front to back than standard Fitted Furniture and so will help if you are short of space in your bathroom or en-suite. All the panels used in the construction of the Fitted Furniture are edged and the cabinets are supplied ready to assemble.

Bathroom Worktops to co-ordinate with you fitted furniture are available in various lengths; ranging from 2m for a long run of work surface incorporating a number of cabinets, to 700mm or 600mm for just one or two cabinets. Bathroom worktops are made up from chipboard with a hardwearing laminate top surface, they are available in either a matt or gloss finish.

Modular Bathroom Furniture

Modular bathroom furniture is usually manufactured from water resistant foil wrapped chipboard, or mdf, that is carefully constructed to withstand the modern bathroom environment. Modular bathroom furniture is available in a variety of sizes and designs ensuring that you have a choice to suit your new bathroom.

Double Trouble?

Ok guys so first things first, sorry I've been missing for a few weeks. Can you believe how bad the weather has been though? I'm sure glad my bathroom vanity design warehouse is 50ft from my house, I just wish it had a better heating system! Anyone want to come install one for little ol me?

Anyways, thats enough ramblings from a single Scottish mum for one week. I've been getting so many messages asking if I can design the perfect double sink bathroom vanity units. The surge in interest really tells me that this is going to be the next big thing to hit the bathroom industry, similar to what shower enclosures did to us in 2006. Lets look what extra's double vanity units bring to the table...

Less Clutter

A typical double bathroom vanity not only provides homeowners with two sinks, but most everything else is also doubled. Matching sinks, counter tops, and cabinets are all standard features on a double sink vanity. All of this extra cabinet and counter top space means that you can more easily find a spot for your toothbrush, hair spray, and other toiletry items.

The personal drawers will also allow each partner to organize his or her drawers in a manner that is most suitable to him or her. This feature also makes it easier to install a double sink vanity in smaller bathrooms. Many people might think that a larger vanity is only meant for a larger bathroom, but due to all of the extra space you save with a large vanity, you will find that there is more room in your bathroom than before.

Cost Effective

It is true that most double sink vanities will cost more than a single sink vanity. However, there are many ways in which a double sink vanity will save you money. It is easier to install one double sink vanity than it is to install two single sink vanities. You will also have less plumbing costs associated with a double sink vanity than with two single sink vanities.

Perhaps the biggest way in which a double sink vanity could save you money is that you will not be rushing to prepare yourself in the morning or have to wait for your partner, which can often make you late for work and create a much more stressful day. Although the base cost for a double sink vanity may be higher than a single sink vanity, different circumstances may create a situation in which the double sink vanity is much more economic.

It is important to remember that a double sink vanity may not be ideal for all homeowners and every bathroom. The larger size of these vanities may not be friendly to extremely small bathrooms and the excess counter and cabinet space may not always be needed.

Added Style

A double sink vanity will primarily receive attention because of its function and usability. However, double sink vanities are an excellent way to decorate and personalise your bathroom. The style, color, and texture of the vanity you choose will have a dramatic impact on the image of your bathroom. You have the option of selecting wood, plastic, metal, tile, and other types of material for your vanity cabinet. These same options, as well as many others, are available for the cabinets and drawers of the vanity.

The vanity mirrors are also available in many different options. Homeowners can select to have one large mirror that spans across both sinks, or two individual mirrors that are personal to each sink. Mirrors can either be framed in, freestanding, or hung directly on the wall. A double sink vanity is easy to personalise and make "your own."

Let me know what you think about these designs, its always great to take something that aleady great and turn it into something even more special.

Thanks,

Sandra
